Canon With Two New Printers - 44-inch imagePROGRAF iPF8300S and 24-inch imagePROGRAF iPF6300S

From Canon USA came out a press release about two of their new big format printers. 44-inch imagePROGRAF iPF8300S and 24-inch imagePROGRAF iPF6300S were shown on the international exhibition named "Wedding and Portrait Photographers International" (WPPI), which was in MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA from 21st to 23rd of February on the Canon stand.
The two printers will come out on the market in April. Canon 44-inch imagePROGRAF iPF8300S's price will be $4995, while the price of the 24-inch imagePROGRAF iPF6300S will be only $2995.

Praktica With New LightWeight 3D Digital Camera

On the market appear a new digital camera. It's name is Praktica DMMC-3D. Apart from the usual functions of a digital camera that can take 2D photos and record 2D videos, this digital camera can take three-dimensional images and also record 3D video.
This digital camera can take video in very high resolution of 720 pixels. With this camera, you can take 5MPx pictures. With the three-dimensional regime turned on you can shoot video with resolution 640 x 480 pixels and images with 1MPx. This digital camera is equipped with a 3.2 inch LCD 3D display, 128 MB of inbuilt memory, also you have the ability to put in a SD/SDHC card up to 32 GB. The interfaces of this new camera are USB 2.0, AV and HDMI.

The technical characteristics of this digital camera are:
4X digital zoom, but it doesn't work in 3D regime of shooting pictures.
Area of focus: from 1.5 m to infinity.
Two 1/4 inch CMOS sensors.
With it you can take photos with resolution of 2592x1944 pixels for 2D images and 1MPx for 3D images. The display of this digital camera is 3.2 inch LCD with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and it supports 3D. The memory of it is 128 MB inbuilt memory, but you can add in the slot of the camera another SD/SDHC up to 32GB. The battery that is used for this camera is lithium-ion. This is a very compact digital camera, because it weights only 112 g, and you can use it everywhere you want.

Price Rise For Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG APOMacro HSM II

News from Sigma US. They announced price rise of their lens - Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG APOMacro HSM II. But recently they lowered the price for the new OS version. The main reasons for the rise, according to their press release, are the low turnover and the increased production costs. Due to the price changes the difference between the stabilized version and the new OS stabilized version changes from $800 down to $450.

Olympus Presents: SZ-20 and SZ-30MR

Olympus released two brand new Super Zoom compact digital cameras. The new "players" in the team of Olympus are the Olympus SZ-30MR and SZ-20.
SZ-20 has great, compact design, equipped with 12.5x Zoom (or 24-300mm).
SZ-30MR is the FIRST digital camera that can take 16mpx photos AND simultaneously record a 1080p Full HD video. SZ-30 has 24x Zoom (or 25-600mm).
Both cameras are equipped with 16mpx backlit CMOS sensor, they can record 1080p Full HD video. Their displays are 3" with 460.000 dpi, ISO range from 80 up to 3200. Batteries can be recharged from a USB port and here's the greatest news - they can take 3D photos!
Both SZ-20 and SZ-30MR will appear on the market in the end of April. The price for SZ-20 is going to be announced later. SZ-30MR can be bought for about $490.

Micro Four Thirds lens - Samyang 7.5mm f/3.5 UMC Fish-eye

Samyang showed a working prototype of a new lens, which is developed specially for Micro Four Thirds digital cameras. The lens name is Samyang 7.5mm f/3.5 UMC Fish-eye and it was seen on the "Focus on Imaging" 2011 exhibition in Birmingham. The lens is distributed with 180° Angle of View and very compact size. The Samyang 7.5mm f/3.5 UMC Fish-eye is the first of entire new collection of Samyang. The collection will be developing lenses specially for compact digital cameras with interchangeable lenses.

Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC - New Design

Samyang announced the modifications in the design of their newest lens - 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC just a few moments before they release it to the market. The new things are metal red ring, focus and range scale and reduced size of the lens. Four Thirds, Nikon, Pentax, Canon, Samsung NX and Sony Alpha are the supported brands. The price of the lens is €389. You can see the newest lens from Samyang on the "Focus on Imagining" 2011 exhibition in Birmingham from 6th to 9th march.
